The Climbing Zine is always accepting stories, photography, and art. Below are our loose guidelines, informal pitches from solid writers are always accepted.
The Climbing Zine publishes thought provoking essays, stories and rambles. Word count can be anywhere from 200 to 10,000. Our aim to publish work that focuses on the essence of climbing; we’ll publish accounts of any climbing experience, as long as the writing is intriguing and thought provoking. The objective being written about is not as important as the way it is written. We look for passion, unique style and a love for climbing in the works that we print.
We also highly recommend reading through a copy of The Zine before submitting to get a feel for our style.
Pitches can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org

About us: The Climbing Zine was started in 2010 by Al Smith III and Luke Mehall. It continues to the day with the mission of representing the true essence of climbing. Our crown jewel is our printed version, but we also do the interweb thing, and Kindle.
