The Climbing Zine is currently building our 11th Volume. We are now accepting stories, with a set release date of September 20th for the next issue. Below are our loose guidelines, informal pitches from solid writers are always accepted.

Words

The Climbing Zine publishes thought provoking essays, stories and rambles. Word count can be anywhere from 200 to 10,000. Our aim to publish work that focuses on the essence of climbing; we’ll publish accounts of any climbing experience, as long as the writing is intriguing and thought provoking. The objective being written about is not as important as the way it is written. We look for passion, unique style and a love for climbing in the works that we print.

Cash money

We currently pay $50-175 per story. Complementary copies of The Climbing Zine are included with pay, as well as the glory of contributing to the greatest zine the climbing scene has ever seen.

Sincerely, Luke Mehall
